It is a privilege to serve as your Zone 7 Director. As a 20 year Tri-Valley resident and active community member, I serve on the board to ensure the Agency is working for YOU.
I heard your concerns about water rate hikes and rising budgets. As your Director, I've asked the tough questions about Zone 7's finances and voted time and again against double digit water rate increases.
In my time on the Board, including one term as President, I successfully fought for regular finance committee meetings, comprehensive financial documents and reporting, transparency, and a better working relationship with our local water agencies and customers.
Critical post-drought decisions will be made in the next few years regarding future water supply and local storage. The community must be included in these discussions.
I will continue working for a safe and reliable water supply that meets the needs of residents, businesses, and our agricultural customers, strong fiscal oversight, keeping flood control a priority, and increasing transparency and communication with the public.
You can continue to count on me to be accessible, effective, and committed to work on your behalf. It would be an honor to have your vote for re-election.

Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce BACPAC gives sole endorsement to Angela Ramirez Holmes
For Immediate Release – February 21, 2020
BACPAC Endorses Angela Ramirez Holmes for Zone 7 Water Board
PLEASANTON, California – The Pleasanton Chamber’s Business and Community Political Action Committee (BACPAC) is pleased to announce its endorsement of incumbent Angela Ramirez Holmes for the Zone 7 Water Agency Board in the March 3, 2020 primary election.
Throughout her two terms, Ramirez Holmes consistently demonstrated strong leadership where it counts most: pursuit of greater quantity and quality of water for the Tri-Valley, fiscal oversight and accountability, and served as President of the Board from 2018-2019.
Ramirez Holmes recognizes that our region cannot continue to rely so heavily on the State Water Project. She has consistently listened and acted to keep our water rate increases to a reasonable level. She has fought for regular finance committee meetings, comprehensive financial documents and reporting, transparency, and a stronger working relationship with our local water agencies and customers.
Ramirez Holmes has earned the support and respect of many elected and appointed officials in the region and the BACPAC is pleased to join that distinguished list. A vote for Ramirez Holmes is a vote for strong leadership, accountability and transparency at Zone 7.

"An advocate for expanding Zone 7 water supply options, exploring new water storage opportunities and prudent budgeting, Ramirez Holmes has also championed important strides for Zone 7 in the areas of public transparency and accountability. Televising Zone 7 meetings, for example, might well have never happened without her strong voice.
Ramirez Holmes understands the issues, engages the stakeholders, listens to the citizens and knows how to lead on the dais."
